How would you describe the International division?

As a small company within a company! GLS International is a separate corporate division with group-wide functions – its employees are responsible for the entire network. Due to our structure, we see ourselves as a small, agile division of the GLS Group, yet still part of the bigger picture. This is very charming and beneficial in many ways.

What's the coolest thing about your job?

Oh, that’s easy: my colleagues. We have already successfully mastered many challenging projects on an international level. I can rely on them at any time and am very grateful to have such a great team.

What has been your and your team’s greatest success so far, and what can you tell us about it?

We have already implemented many successful projects – it’s hard to choose just one. One project that I enjoy looking back on is when we introduced a new international customer system which collects customs data. In collaboration with the International Projects and International Partner Systems teams, we tried out many innovative and well-considered ideas during the project implementation phase, until we came up with the best solution. Each team member helped to design, shape and implement the project. I am very proud of this success.

What would you say to potential applicants?

Be authentic, stay true to yourself and don't pretend to be someone you’re not. Be persistent and pursue your goals and ideas!
