We live and love diversity

Get involved socially, take on responsibility

People of different origins, cultures, religions and world views work at and for GLS. Respectful interaction with all our employees is among the most important principles of the Group.

In addition, GLS takes on social responsibility: we support numerous charity projects and our employees show their commitment as part of volunteer days. GLS also provides support to its own up-and-comers with individual training and education opportunities.

Sustainability Report

Economic considerations, environmental and climate responsibility and social issues are at the heart of the sustainability report. It presents developments in the 2015/16/17 financial years under the title “ThinkGLS. ThinkResponsible”. Every two years there is this open documentary about everything that happens at GLS in terms of environmental and social responsibility: Download

Get involved together

GLS holds regular volunteer days at its German locations. Employees suggest projects, which they then actively support at a volunteer day they also organise. GLS supported the campaigns with around 30,000 euros in the 2017/18 business year.

Delivering help

Free parcel transportation and support for foundations, schools or hospitals: GLS regularly supports selected charitable initiatives.

Award-winning excellence in training

We support our employees. With well-founded, practice-oriented training, we support our junior employees. We make individualised training and further education possible.

GLS supports: sport and culture

GLS sponsors the Deutscher Leichtathletik-Verband (DLV) and the Deutsche Triathlon Union (DTU) – both the Bundesliga and national team. GLS is also a partner of the German and European Film Academy and is responsible for transport relating to the awarding of the German and European Film Prize.
